Rufus Barton Cooley, 78, passed away on November 1, 2025. Born on January 28, 1947, Bart was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; two sisters and their spouses, Carolyn and Cary Glover, Beverly and Roland Craig; two children and their spouses, Michael and Diana Cooley, Jennifer and J.C. Dahlgren; and three grandchildren, Isabelle, Jordan and Nathan.
He was a veteran and a talented musician and artist. He will be remembered for his generous nature, warmth and humor.
A celebration of life will be held on January 3, 2025 1:00-4:00 at Madigan’s Waterfront 201 Mill Street Occoquan, VA 22125.
