At Novacremate.com, we strive to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchase. We offer refunds and returns for our memberships, merchandise and professional cremation services as detailed below.
Memberships: Refunds for a society membership are available for 30 days from the time of purchase unless the Northern Virginia Burial & Cremation Society member has already occurred. Once a society member has been cremated, no membership refund will be provided.
Merchandise: Refunds are available until a cremation has been performed.
Cremation-Related Services: Refunds for cremation-related services are available within 24 hours of purchasing a cremation unless the removal has already occurred. In cases where a removal has already occurred, and/or other purchased cremation-related services have already occurred, only services not yet provided will be refunded–based on pricing in the itemized receipt provided at time of purchase. Refunds are not available for cremation-related services and/or merchandise once the cremation has occurred.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
At the Northern Virginia Cremation Society, INC. by Turch, we understand that the delivery of cremated remains is an important and emotional process. We always strive to provide a respectful and professional service in returning a loved one’s remains.
Following are the options we offer for the delivery, shipping or return of cremated remains.
1) Hand Delivery within the “Local Area,” defined as delivery to an address within a 25.01-mile radius up to a 75-mile radius of our location
2) Hand Delivery within the “Immediate Area,” defined as delivery to an address within a 25-mile radius of our location
3) Mailing of Cremated Remains: We offer mailing of cremated remains via the USPS for a flat fee of $140.
4) Pickup of Cremated Remains: We also offer pickup of cremated remains at our location for no additional charge.
All delivery services are provided with the utmost respect and sensitivity. We reserve the right to refuse delivery if we believe the service cannot be provided safely or with appropriate sensitivity. Thank you for choosing Northern Virginia Cremation Society.
