Pepi, at 34 years old in 1965, took a quantum leap and came to America, by herself, to see if our family should make a move. She laid the foundation for our family to come to the USA and have a wonderful life. There was four of us when we finally made the big move. Johanna was born in America. Now with the children, spouses, in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren our family has grown by leaps.
Our nurturing, kind, loving, courageous and very amazing mother has gone to heaven!
She fought COVID 19, came home and celebrated her 90th birthday, but 20 days later we found that there was more damage from the virus. She was diagnosed with COVID pneumonia and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
On Tuesday February 9, 2021 she left this earth and joined her husband of 71 years. Her three children were with her as she took her last breath! Being her child was like winning the lottery every day! She is the new angel and brightest star! We will miss you every minute of the day.
We love you Mama and will carry you in our hearts forever.
