Nelson A Davis, age 88, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his bedside on November 4, 2022. Nelson was a long time resident of the Tidewater area. He arrived into this world on February 2, 1934, born to Amy and Harold Davis in Rochester, NY.
He was married to the late Pauline Harvey Davis in 1958 in Rochester, NY.
After serving in the Army for two years he attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with an MBA. After graduating, he was involved in various businesses including a restaurant and several real estate ventures.
Nelson is survived by his daughter Alycia Davis of Alexandria, VA., his son Harvey Davis of Hampton,VA, his daughter Sondra Davis of Baltimore,MD, his son in law Michael Cabbage and his grand children Max and Sofia.
There will be a memorial held in Virginia Beach,VA.
