I moved into Braddock Place Condominium in 1999, right across the hall from Mary. Both of us adore our cats, and when the condo was almost empty during the holidays you would find us throwing cat toys, balls, rolled up tin foil in our hallway! I started calling her GG (short for Google girl). She could find the answer faster than anyone. I enjoyed her laughter, banter, while we shared our white wine and smokes together. We sure had different food likes, but I cooked what she would eat, sneaking in the occasional vegetable. Fruit? You have got to be kidding! I could share a fun time of us tossing ice cubes off the balcony with various and brilliant targets (long story). We shared caring for each other's cat's when vacationing, or later days when I was in rehab. We crossed the Rainbow Bridge too many times together. I kinda felt like a younger sister with 4 years between us. For many years we shared an annual fondue evening with another condo friend, for years we had 3 of us together for the National news, Jeopardy, and what ever else (mystery, food, or home improvement) program was on. I miss her dearly, I applaud her strength fighting for the last year. Sleep in peace with your parents and all your beloved cats forever my friend. ???
