Kenneth William Horn, May 20, 1942 – April 14, 2021, Alexandria VA

Ken Horn was born in Monessen, Pennsylvania where he graduated Monessen Senior High School. He went on to earn an Associate Degree at Robert Morris University before being drafted into the army. Upon his return, he moved to Washington, D.C., worked as an accountant at PEPCO, and started a family in Arlington, VA. He later earned his Bachelor’s degree at George Mason University. Ken was an avid reader and enjoyed attending theatrical performances in the Washington, DC area. He is preceded by his son, Christopher Duncan Horn, his father, Fred Horn, and his mother, Dorothy Rose Horn. Ken is survived by his daughter, Andrea McCollam, and his siblings, David Horn and Carol Dauer.

I remember helping Uncle Ken install a screen door at one of the apartment buildings owned by the family. A Job that should have taken 15 minutes instead took almost 4 hours, all due to Uncle Ken's fastidious nature. He was fun and frustrating in the best of ways. Love you, Uncle Ken. You will be missed.
