Juanita B Bowman (February 24th, 1945 – February 9th, 2023) age 77 passed away peacefully at her home of 22 years in Falls Church, Virginia. She died in the loving embrace of her husband after a difficult 15 month battle with cancer.
Juanita was born in Toledo, Ohio and was a graduate of the University of Detroit (BA, 1968), Oakland University (MA, 1979), and Wayne State University (MSW, 1988).
In 2001, Juanita and her husband moved to her current residence in Fall Church, Virginia.
Juanita supported many environmental, social and political causes. She encouraged people to vote and was a proud member of League of Women Voters.
Juanita cherished her children and grandchildren as her greatest pride and joy. She loved spending time with her family and capturing special moments with pictures.
