Joseph Leroy Davis, 60, of Manassas, Virginia (formerly of Indiana, Pa.), passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Brookside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warrenton, Virginia.
He was born on June 9, 1961 in Indiana, Pa., and was the son of Mary (Davis) and Merle Gearhart.
Joe was a 1980 graduate of the Purchase Line High School, Commodore, Pa. Not long after graduation, he moved to Virginia where he spend most of his life. His latest occupation was an auto mechanic.
Surviving is his mother of Indiana, Pa.; brothers Roger Gearhart, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Terry Gearhart (wife Dena), Johnstown, Pa.; and Scott Gearhart (wife Donna), Lovejoy, Pa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister Connie Davis-Shields, nephew Brian Gearhart, and great-nephew Jeremy Davis.
Northern Virginia Burial & Cremation Society, Inc. in Springfield, Va. were entrusted with the final arrangements. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at the Two Lick Baptist Church, Dixonville, Pa.
