Eric Metzger

Eric William Metzger, 57, passed away on December 4, 2021 after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Barbara ‘Gay’ and William H. Metzger. He is survived by his aunt, Donna Brown, and cousin, David Grossman. Eric lived his entire life in Northern Virginia as a person with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Cared for by his loving mother and in later years by the wonderful staff of the Hartwood Foundation, Eric enjoyed chocolate cake, cartoons, and loved helping others.
