Cheryl Davenport

Cheryl Giles Davenport (78) of Springfield, Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 28th, surrounded by her family.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents James Laurier Giles and Katherine Easley of Bethesda, Maryland. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 52 years, Bryan Pearce Davenport, her daughters Nicole Peterson (Scott) and Adrienne Cummins (Joseph), grandchildren Zoe and Margot Peterson, Victor and Hazel Cummins; sister-in-law Susan Emma Davenport; her beloved nieces Kathy Mullin and Tracy Story, and countless friends.

Services will be held at the Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St, Alexandria, VA 22314 on Friday, September 16th at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Caring Health of Falls Church, Virginia or Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St. Michaels, Maryland.
