Ann M. Guter passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022, at the beautiful age of 101. She was born in February 1921, in Latrobe, PA where she grew up, graduated from high school, worked, and married before moving to Camp Lejuene, NC for two years with her second husband.
In 1956, she and her family moved to Falls Church, VA before settling in Vienna, VA in 1958, where she lived in the same home for 60 years. She prepared meals for children with special needs at Holly Hall private school for more than 20 years and was an accomplished ballroom dancer. Ann enjoyed her last five years at Arleigh Burke Pavilion, playing bingo-always winning-engaging in games of trivia, and participating in chair exercise classes.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Teresa Rubis who immigrated to the United States from Italy, two brothers Emeric and Joseph, and her daughter Marguerite who passed away last May. She is survived by her son Don Guter (wife Pat) of Washington, DC, granddaughters Kerry Goltsov of Nashua, NH and Kelly Sudovar (husband Ben) of Bloomfield, NJ, and great grandchildren Jake Goltsov and Kathryn Sudovar.
