I just found out that my dear friend and former colleague Gene passed away in March. This is a tremendous loss as Gene was the nicest person and a dear friend who never forgot a birthday, holiday and she always corresponded with me after I moved away to Florida. Gene babysat my children, attended all of our family events and became like an aunt to my kids. She was a tremendous worker very thorough and you could always rely on Gene to follow through on any assignment and task. She will be surely missed, especially as we always celebrated our birthdays together. Rest in peace, Gene.
