Donald Thompson

On March 4, 2023, Donald L. Thompson died peacefully in his sleep at home in Fairfax, Virginia. He was a devoted husband and is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley L. Thompson, father of Michele L. Morgan and Liane L. Thompson (Christine), grandfather of Blake A. Cerretani (Cary) and Savannah L. Cerretani and great grandfather to Keahi Cerretani.
Don was a native of Washington, DC, and an Eastern High School graduate. He served in the Army as part of the Armed Forces Police. He was VP of Loss Prevention at Drug Fair. He also worked in fire safety and protection for Charles E. Smith Cos. and loss prevention for Boat US.
He was a dog lover and never met a dog he didn’t like.
At his request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
