Beth Harley Pirnat passed away on March 5, 2021 following a courageous, nine-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She died at home surrounded by loved ones.
Beth was born November 20, 1965 in Roanoke, VA, to John and the late Veronica (Roni) Harley. She graduated from Hayfield High School in 1984, then attended George Mason University.
Beth never let the many trials of life alter her positive and carefree attitude. All spirits in a room, young and old, would lift a little when someone said, “Bethie’s here!” She was genuinely kind and selfless which made her excel in her lifetime career as a branch banker, beloved by her customers and co-workers throughout Northern Virginia and Fredericksburg.
Beth is survived by her father, John Cecil, her brother, John David (Vickie), and her sister, Shay. Beth was the beloved aunt of John Samuel Harley (Ana), Joshua Harley, Sarah Harley Franklin (Eric), Nick Millner and Matthew Millner, and the favorite great-aunt to John Michael, Madison, Blake, and Hunter. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Beth had a squad of close friends and prayer warriors that is too long to list. Ladies – you know who you are – your support, daily texts, and messages brought Beth tremendous comfort. She loved you all so much and we are forever grateful that she had all of you in her life.
A private service will be held at a later date. Should you want to do something in Beth’s memory, please donate to The IIIBs – BosomBuddyBaskets and become an advocate for Death with Dignity legislation in your state.
