On April 17th, 2023, Margery Elizabeth Farhat, 105, of Suitland, Maryland, passed away. Margery was born to Charles and Cordelia Bowser in Washington, D.C. on August 25th, 1917. Margery retired from being a schoolteacher after teaching for 23 years. She traveled all over Europe, lived in Rome, where she attended university and learned to speak Italian and French. She lived in north Africa, Tunisia for many years and married her second husband there.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Cordelia Bowser, first husband Brabson Roché, second husband Naceur Farhat, sons André and Lynn Roché, and brothers Charles Bowser and Paul Bowser.
She is survived by her grandchildren: André Roché Jr, Michael Roché, Damien Roché, and Linda Roché, great-grandchildren: Rachel Smith-Beliveau, Michael Smith, Daniel Requilman, André Roché III, Drew Roché, and Maya Roché, and great-great-grandchildren: Matthew Beliveau, Makayla Smith, Jackson Smith, Jordan Smith, Tania Requilman, Tiara Feist, and Xavier Feist.
She will be laid to rest at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland on Thursday May 11th at a private committal service.
