Margaret Fannon Mink, 76, passed away on January 2nd at Reston Hospital with
her loving husband by her side.
Margaret was born on January 13, 1944 in Pennington Gap, Virginia.
to Millard and Marie Fannon.
She attended Pennington Gap High School and continued her education at
Lincoln Memorial University where she received a degree in Education. She was
an educator in the public as well as private school systems for over 10 years

love for church and children by volunteering with the Backpack Buddies

sickness, she was always making sure others were cared for.

their spouses, Ivye and Thomas Tighe, Andrea and Mike Ostrander; 4
grandchildren, Ethan, Liam and Brady Tighe, and Harper Ostrander; and her
