I would like to send my prayerful condolences to the family of Ed Gilmartin, recently passed. We were high school friends and football teammates and lost touch over the years but I always appreciated Eddie's intelligence, sense of humor, and kindness and compassion for others. I regret not reaching out to him in recent years, and will miss him.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Gilmartin Family. I used to ride to work with Ed for a few years around the turn of the century. It was always enjoyable talking about and solving the problems of the world in the thirty minutes from D.C. to Springfield, VA. His advice, both as a colleague and friend, was valued. I will never forget Ed.
